Hi I'm Kirsten

I am a student. I want to be a dietitian. I love to read, learn and the outdoors. I love my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying Dietetics. I absolutely love it and enjoy getting to know new people and trying new things. I love to spend time outside, especially playing ultimate frisbee. My husband and I also enjoy hiking and camping and we really want to start backpacking. I also love to read and to learn. I am minoring in Spanish, so I also enjoy utilizing my language skills.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to be. I believe in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and what it teaches. I know that this is only true church and the best and only way to find happiness. I was born into the Church, but that does not mean that my parents made the decision for me, I made this decision on my own. Every day I see things that remind me that God lives. The beauties of the earth remind me that God loves us so much that he created this wonderful world for us. The kindness of others reminds me of Him. To me, the blessings all around me are manifestations of His personal love for me and every one of his children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending weekly church meetings, going to a Church owned university and by fulfilling my callings in the church. I try to serve others in small, but meaningful ways. I like making a difference, no matter how small. I like being in an atmosphere that is full of people that hold the same standards as me which helps me to live my faith. I enjoy reading and learning from ancient scriptures such as the Book of Mormon and also the words of the modern day prophets.
