Hi I'm Sheri

I'm a wife, a mother, a runner, a foodie and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my highschool sweetheart after he served a full-time LDS mission in Brazil. We have been happily married for almost 9 years now. I am a stay-at-home mom of 3 beautiful girls - which is the best job in the whole world. Most of my life is spent doing laundry, cleaning, cooking, giving baths, running errands, helping with homework, etc. It can be exhausting, but I wouldn't trade it for the world. One kiss or "I love you, Mom" makes it all worthwhile. I love running, hiking, dancing and food.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in an LDS home where I was taught the gospel by word and example. As I grew, I prayed and studied to gain a testimony for myself. I have felt the Holy Ghost confirm the truthfulness of the gospel in my heart time and again. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me peace and hope during times of hardship. It also brings me great happiness. I love how it brings my family together. I have great faith in Heavenly Father's Plan of Happiness and know that if we continue on the path and strive to become better and endure to the end, we can be a family forever.

How I live my faith

I am a youth advisor for girls, specifically. I teach them lessons in church and plan and participate in weekly activities for them. I am amazed at how these girls are able to stand up for what they believe and stay strong in a world of turmoil and confusion. I am a visiting teacher, which means, I am asked to visit, teach and help care for a few specific girls in my ward. This calling has given me an opportunity to reach out to and get to know other women who aren't always the same as me, but we share common goals and are striving to become better. My most important calling is that of a mother and we try to teach our girls the same way my parents taught me. I strive to live the gospel by following the Prophet and applying the scriptures in my life.
