Hi I'm DeAnna Guymon

I grew up in rural southern Colorado. I have 3 active boys, one with Autism. I'm a student, a mom, a wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, mom, student, daughter, and aunt. I have 3 boys ages 4, 6, and 12. I'm a student who is attempting my BSN in nursing. My youngest son has autism and we are so blessed to have in our lives. I'm a convert to the church. Been a member for almost 10 years now. My passion is doing service for others.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in my family home we had only attend church services during the holidays and as I grew older we stopped going all together. When 9/11 happened I then realized that something was missing in my life. My sister had been baptized a member and so I began asking questions and wondering if the church was what had been missing in my life. After reading the book of Mormon and taking the discussions and attending church services and had finally found the missing piece in my life. I'm thankful everyday for the gospel and for the power of the holy ghost. Without this I would still be a lost soul searching for truth and light.

How I live my faith

I'm currently a teacher to the young children ages 6-7. They are super fun and I really enjoy putting together lessons and teaching them the gospel. My previous callings were also with young children. In the past 10 years I have learned to much from them. They are truly heavenly fathers children. I do my best to help others in their time of need. No matter how small the task I certainly try to give my time.
