Hi I'm Kristi

I'm a wife and mother to five children. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of five. That almost says it all... I spend a lot of my time caring for my family and home. I also work to supplement our income. At one time I owned my own commercial cleaning business. I love to read, scrapbook, camp, watch shows, play games, and spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

There are so many times in my life where I have struggled with different trials and experiences. This is just part of life. When life seems so unbearable and overwhelming, I know that I don't have to face it alone. Having the light of Christ in my life helps me every day. I've had so many spiritual experiences and miracles in my life that I KNOW that God is watching over me. That warm fuzzy feeling that I get from reading the scriptures, praying and staying active in the church keeps me going. I love being a member of this church. I know I have the support of the members in every aspect (spiritually, mentally, physically, etc.). The mormon church encourages me to be a better person.

How I live my faith

The Mormon church is VERY organized. It is the same here as it is in other parts of the world. It is nice to feel it's consistancy. I have a calling to be a visiting teacher. My partner and I go visit three other women in their homes each month. This is a wonderful way to build friendships and help other members if/when they need help. Every woman 18 or older has the opportunity to become a Visiting Teacher. I am also a Cubmaster. I love working with the boys ages 8-10 in our church. These children get to learn and develop important skills and talents that will help them throughout life. The scouting program builds confidence in the boys and it is fun to be a part of their lives. In addition to this, I attend church every Sunday for 3 hours. This is divided into 3 classes that will help me stay spiritually uplifted and educated.
