Hi I'm Luseane

I grew up in California. I'm a missionary. I'm an athlete. I love to laugh. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a missionary. Before I was a college student. I am interested in learning about the development of children and mathematics. I competed in track and field in high school and college. I participated in field events which include shot put, discus, javelin, and hammer. I enjoy playing sports, especially volleyball, spending time with loved ones, laughing, and being active. I have a good life filled with religion, family, and education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon. I have continued to be and live as a Mormon because throughout my life I have seen the many blessings of peace, love, comfort, and service. It has helped shape the person I am today. Being a Mormon has been my fall back when I feel like quitting and strength to continue. I have felt the happiness that comes when I live according to the standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Being Mormon has kept me safe and given me a hope of a better world. I love being Mormon and would not change it for the world. I have seen the unifying power it has on families and communities. I believe that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true and I have felt the assuring power of the Holy Spirit that what I am testifying is true. Through joyous and struggling times I have felt the Savior's love. It is His love that helps me see my worth. It is His church that reminds me of the blessings I receive everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the way I interact with others. I strive to stand up for my beliefs. I love telling people what I believe in. I grew up learning how to serve and have enjoyed the opportunities that were put in front of me. I try to live my faith by the way I carry myself in how I look, act, and talk. It is hard to stay positive in a negative world, but it is possible. I am weak, but can only be made strong through Jesus Christ. I strive to better live my faith by reading and applying what I learn in the scriptures.
