Hi I'm Mitch

I was born in Utah. I'm an athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to do a wide variety of things. i cant really say that i am extremely good at any of them but i always enjoy trying something new. Some of my personal favorite hobbies include: Basketball, baseball, ping pong, skiing, Mountain biking, boating, golf and tennis. Alot of my life has been spent doing many of those things. As i got a little bit older i decided that i would like to serve as a full time missionary for my church which turned out to be probably the most amazing decision that i have made in my life to this point. it has been the hardest and most rewarding thing that i have ever done. I am now finished with my mission and i am striving to get back adjusted to normal life. I will be attending BYU Idaho starting in january. As of now i am planning on going into the medical field.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the church for many different reasons but the main one and most important one is because i have come to know this church to be Christ's true church. That knowledge has come gradually to me but there are a few key instances that i can always fall back on in which i knew that God was pleased with me and where i was at. Growing up in the church definatly has impacted my belief in this church being true but that can only take you so far and you will never be fully invested if you dont put the effort into finding out for yourself. That is what i did and what i have continued to do many times throughout my life is read the book of Mormon and pray to ask if it is a true book. Every time that i have done this i eventually recieve an answer. Another main thing that has helped me recieve a testimony is experiencing the power of the atonement through applying the gospel. This is something that every single one of us needs and i know that it is a real thing. The church provides so much for me and i wish for everyone to come and receive the same blessings that i have received from being a part of it.

How I live my faith

Right now i live my faith by first of all striving to help those around me by example and by invitation. one calling or job i have in the church right now is to coach the young men in basketball! it has been a great experience through which i have grown and learned a lot. I also strive to help the local missionaries out and visit the families to which i have been assigned to help and teach throughout the month. i love being a member of the church.
