Hi I'm Barbara

I'm a Mormon. I have lived in Arizona all my life. I am a wife, mother and grandmother. I am a 4th generation Mormon.

About Me

I am a homemaker. We have seven children and 23 grandchildren. Most of our children live close by, and we spend time with them each week. I grew up in the Church, but I spent a few years being inactive. Since returning to church several years ago, I have been blessed to serve in many callings, from teaching to secretary, to presidencies. I love the children in the Church, and always desire to make a difference in their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I became truly converted while reading The Book of Mormon. I felt the Spirit testify to me that it is true. After reading it for the first time, I had a fire burning inside of me to learn all the I could about the Church. I know that following Jesus Christ's teachings and staying close to the Church is the only path to happiness.

How I live my faith

I try each day to help my family, friends, neighbors, and the people in our Ward in any way that I can. I feel a warm and wonderful feeling when I help others. I always look forward to Sunday when I can spend a few hours doing what the Lord wants me to do. I love teaching the children about the Gospel and the Lord's Plan of Happiness. I also enjoy Visiting Teaching each month. I have made wonderful friends in the Church. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
