Hi I'm Matthew

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to grow food in my garden, and visit with my family. Recently my wife and I had our first son, and boy is he a hand full. My wife teaches band and I am a student. For work I am a Pharmaceutical Technician. It was my privalege to live in Mexico City for a small part of my childhood, and serve a mission for the church in the Carribean. Due to my travels I am now fluent in 3 languages (English, Spanish, and Papiamento), and several other dialects.

Why I am a Mormon

My sincere interest in the "Gospol of Jesus Chirst" really didnt happen until I was a senor in high school. I knew the church was good my whole life, having witnessed the joy and protection of my family that lived its teachings. During that year in high school I grew concerned about serving a mission, and wether or not I really believed or not. Therefore like many other people I know, a time of searching for surity began in my life. Through the simplicity of reading the scriptures and prayer, I was able to feel the truth of the gospol and gain desire to live it.

How I live my faith

In the church I am a "Ward Missionary," who helps in supporting the full time missionaries in any way I can. My wife and I have expierienced the joys of serving in the "Primary," teaching the 3 year olds about christ. It is really special to expierience the purity of learning that children have to offer. Through out the week I attempt to serve every means possable, because there is no better way I feel to live the life of a "Latterday Saint"
