Hi I'm Ashley

I'm a college student. I live in Arizona. I love watching movies and cooking. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to college to become a nurse. I love to watch movies, cooking, reading, and having fun. I like making people laugh and I love to laugh. I am the oldest girl of four children and I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up in the church so i've always been surrounded by people that live the standards of the church. Whenever I was with those people, I always felt comfortable like they were apart of my family. In the world today, it's really hard to feel like you have to live up to other people's expectations but when i'm around other members of the church I feel like I can just be myself and they accept me for me. I recognize the feeling I get around other members and it makes me want to be a better person. That feeling and my testimony that this is the restored gospel and that the Book of Mormon is true is why I have continued to follow the teachings of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I think that I have one of the best callings in my ward. After every second Sunday service of each month, my ward has a social in order for the members to get to know one another better. I am a part of the group of people that organize that social. We decide what the theme should be for that month and then we make the food. It's always a fun time and everyone loves the food. I also have another calling a a visiting teacher. A visiting teacher is a woman that is assigned to go teach a lesson and get to know other women in the ward. Visiting teaching is a great way for us to make friends and grow spiritually together.
