Hi I'm Sara

I'm an Army brat, a world traveler, a Health Coach and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My father has been in the US Army since before I was born and because of that I have lived in three different countries and numerous cities and I've attended more than 10 schools throughout my life. I just graduated college with my bachelors degree in Exercise and Wellness and now work as a Health Coach.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and continue to live that faith today. Although I grew up in a strong-faith household, I did not have friends that shared my religious beliefs and there came a time when I had to know for myself if I believed the things my parents and church leaders taught. I was 14 when I took the time to find out for myself and although I did find out it was true, I still struggled through my early adult years with living the way I knew I should. It took me a while to get my life back on track with the gospel principles and teachings of the church but as I worked my way back to standing strongly I feel such a difference in life as it was then and life as it is now. I am in the best place of my life when I follow the teachings and guidance of the prophets and church. I am happier when I do the things I know would be pleasing to my Lord and Savior. I continue to be a part of this church because I love the feeling I get when I study the words of our modern-day prophet who still lives today and guides us through his teachings. I know the teachings of the prophet are guidance to us from our loving Heavenly Father and I know this church is the restored Church of Christ. I know it was through Joseph Smith that the church was restored to this earth after many years of absence and I know it continues to grow and live through apostles and prophets today. I know that we once lived in Heaven before we came to earth and we will all have the opportunity to return to live with our Heavenly Father after earth life is over for us. I know families are the necessary units we need to grow and prosper in this life as we make efforts to live as we should. I know families have the power to be forever throughout this life and the next. I know our father in heaven loves us and wants what is best for us. I know everyone has the opportunity to come to know the things I do and pray that everyone will take that opportunity.

How I live my faith

Through church I've been given many opportunities to teach other members and help in numerous settings. I've taught the youth in Sunday School, kids as young as five and as old as eighteen, I've taught women and men in classes and have been on committees to help plan activities for young adults. I participate in the church's organization for women, Relief Society, where we learn and visit with each other on a weekly basis. I learn in church through talks and lessons given by other members of the church and we all help each other grow as members and children of God.
