Hi I'm Aliesha

I am a wife and mother of two beautiful children, I have Crohn's Disease, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello, I'm Aliesha. I am 24 years old. I was born and raised in Arizona and still live here today. I just recently became married to my wonderful husband and together we are raising my two beautiful children from a previous marriage. I am so blessed to have him as a husband and a father to my kids. He's wonderful! I love spending time with my family. Becoming a mother has been the greatest blessing in my life! It definitely is a challenge, but I wouldn't change anything about it. I was diagnosed with Crohns Disease in March of 2012. I have had to undergo three major surgeries because of this disease, without them I wouldn't be here. I feel very blessed that the Lord has allowed me to stay here on this earth and raise my children!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been Mormon since I was born. My mother was born and raised Mormon but my father didn't join until I was 5. My family was then sealed in the Mesa, Arizona temple. I have chosen to stay a memeber of His church because I have a testimony of the gospel. There have been many times in my life where it has helped me get through rough times. I know that my Savior is there for me whenever I need Him. Being a mother, I need the Savior in my life more than ever. He guides me everyday. When I feel like I can't do it anymore I can turn to Him for strength. I feel the more I try to stay close to my Savior and follow the teachings of the gospel my life seems to go smoothly and everything falls into place. I have a testimony of the the gospel and what it teaches. I am grateful to have it in my life. I have a testimony of the power of prayer. I know that I can turn to my Heavenly Father whenever I need Him and I know He hears me. There have been many times in my life where I have prayed to Him and he has answered me. Especially after going through this tough time in my life with Crohns Disease, I have prayed to Him for help and strength to get through it and He has blessed me. I know He cares and loves me. It's amazing the love you feel from our Heavenly Father as your pray. He is there and wants to be there for you if you just let Him.

How I live my faith

I enjoy service projects. When I was 12 our town had to be evaccuated because of a wildfire. When we were able to come home, many families lost their homes. The youth of our ward got together and cleaned up a families property who's house had been burned down. We had so much fun doing it and got so much joy out of helping others in need. I have recently had primary callings. I love teaching the little children. They are so much fun!
