Hi I'm Ben

I’m a marathoner, a climber, a slacker and I solve Rubik’s Cubes.

About Me

I'm emphatic about trail running, the longer the better. I have completed one marathon and plan on turning that into many. I enjoy ascending a good rock when not hitting the trails. Slacking keeps my physical life in balance. I don't mean slacking as in avoiding work but as in the sport known as slack line. I also seem collect useless talents like solving Rubik’s cubes, juggling, speed stacking, and clapping rely rely fast. I get some kind of thrill out of studying physics and nuclear sciences. I'm currently more of a groupie for the thorium energy industry, but working toward an degree that will help me become part of it. I believe that it is important to feed ones body, mind, and spirit, not necessarily in that order. leading a uncluttered, balanced, and clean life is my goal. I have found that recreation, hard work, service, study, and prayer, have helped me toward that goal.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My parents have taken me to church all my life and so I grew up with the principals taught to me. I continue to go to church because the people I meet at church are the happiest I know and I want to live my life so I can experience that same happiness. I know the gospel is true and hope to be able to share it with those who are looking for it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those closest to me and trying to better myself and my community. I follow the principals taught by Jesus Christ in the New Testament as well as buy our prophets on the earth today. I’m preparing to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and hope to help people realize their own divine potential.
