Hi I'm David

I'm a Husband. I'm a father. I'm a grandfather. I like to watch my kids play soccer. I'm an Engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 1 daughter and 5 sons. I am a grandfather to 6 wonderful grandchildren. Being a grandfather has been one of the greatest joys in the world. I have the most fantastic wife who keeps our family happy, well organized and works very hard at keeping the family in touch, especially now the family is spread out over so many different states. I enjoy going to watch my children play soccer or any other sport they are involved with. I am a Senior Electrical Engineering Manager responsible for the design of all wiring on the latest Boeing 747-8 airplane. I have worked for The Boeing Company most of my career (except of a few years when working in flight test on the B2 bomber). I have had the privilege of engineering the design of the physical wiring on new models of the 747, 767 & 777 airplanes.

Why I am a Mormon

After reading the Book of Mormon and praying about it when I was 19 years old, I received a witness it was true from our Heavenly Father. I know the Book of Mormon is another witness that Jesus is the Christ. When you receive a witness from your Heavenly Father, you want to follow Him. Through this witness, I have also come to know that Heavenly Father leads His church through his Prophet on the Earth today and that Jesus Christ is my Savior.

How I live my faith

The teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has helped make my family be successful in living the Gospel, stay close to each other, be a happy and loving family. The teachings of the Gospel are very simple to live and the Lord has blessed my family for following those teachings. As I serve in the leadership of our church's congregation (the Ward), the Lord blesses my life and my families life daily. Being in the leadership of our church, I am blessed to be able to work with all of the Ward's different organizations, but one of the most rewarding assignments is working with the Young Men and Young Women Organizations and helping them learn about our Heavenly Father. The youth are the future leaders of the world and having a structured understanding of the Gospel and knowing that Jesus Christ is their Savior, will help them lead this world in the future.
