Hi I'm Heidi

I'm a wife. I'm a mom. I love to digi-scrap. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 15 wonderful years and have 5 beautiful children. I couldn't imagine my life without any of them. I have 4 boys and 1 girl, so our house is busy, but always fun! We love hiking and finding any reason to be together. I love to document the places we go and the memories we make together...I love to digital scrapbook and take pictures. I love that it allows me to remember all the great things we've done together. I also enjoy CrossFit. I love pushing myself and then looking back and seeing what I can accomplish.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church and am very grateful for the example of my parents. They helped me to gain a strong testimony of this gospel. I know that God hears and answers prayers and I know that I am a child of God. I was taught that from the time I was young, and as I have gotten older, I've realized the power of those two truths. I know my Heavenly Father loves me for me and I know He has faith in me that I can do anything and that if I stay on the right path, I can return to live with Him. I find reassurance in the fact that families can be together forever. This truth helps me every day to strive to be a better wife and mother. Knowing our family will be together forever makes our relationships so much stronger.

How I live my faith

I strive each day to follow the example of our Savior and be a good friend to everyone. I also try to teach this to my children, helping them realize we are all brothers and sisters of our Heavenly Father. I love meeting new people and getting to know them better. I am thankful that our church has Visiting Teaching where each woman gets to befriend other women we go to church with by visiting them on a regular basis and making sure they feel loved and appreciated. We read the scriptures and pray each day together as a family. We also have a family night set aside each Monday night where we talk about the gospel and play games. It is a great time to know that no one has anything else going on, except being together as a family.
