Hi I'm Dalton

I like hanging out on the bright side, and i'm a mormon. Hit me!

About Me

I grew up with an amazing family and class A parents. They've raised me right and shown me the way to go. My older brother is a stellar example and my little sister is a beacon of light to our family. I love playing sports, football is by far the best but i love em all. I love hot sunny days and being out on the lake with my friends, camping, fishing, everything. i love adding weird suffixes to the ends of peoples names and words.. dunno why. I'll be going to school next semester and i want to do something with my life that will let me help people every single day. Really make an impact on their lives. I feel most fulfilled when i'm in the service of other people and I believe that was the way Christ lived and i try my best to follow His perfect example, altho, obviously i fall short quite often.

Why I am a Mormon

Because Jesus Christ changed my life, He changed my heart, He changed my soul, He's given me nothing but great peace. I have a sure knowledge that Jesus Christ is the Savior. Like Alma says "my soul has felt to sing the sweet song of redeeming love." I love my Savior and I'm dedicated to follow Him for life and to help others do so. My heart is filled with love from Him and i hope that He will accept the feelings of my heart because I have no words to describe how greatful I am to Him. He spoke to the Prophet Joseph Smith, who restored the Church of Jeus Christ. the evidence is found in the Book of Mormon which contains the words of Christ! It's true, I know it, and anybody can know it if they read, ponder and Pray. It will give you a greater persective of God's plan for you as you read it, and you will know it is true! This is Jesus Christ's church, He stands at the head of it, nobody else can claim that. I know that because God has told me. it is true. and that is why i'm a mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm currently in the middle of a 2 year mission. Literally all day every single day we go out, and invite others to build their faith in Christ, repent, be baptized, and recieve the Holy Ghost. It's the best time of my life and I'm lovin' it. As i try to help others come unto Christ, i notice myself growing closer to Him than ever before.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Jesus Christ is absolutely the Son of God. We believe that Christ is the saviour of the world. We all have a goal to live with God again. however, only perfect and spiritually clean people can live with God. Jesus Christ makes it possible for us to be cleansed from our sins, forgiven of our mistakes, and He has the power to change our very nature. His atonement (suffering, death, and resurrection) makes it possible for us to be spiritually changed. as in Mosiah 5:2 "He has wrought a mighty change in our hearts, that we have no more desire to do evil, but to do good continually" this can happen immediately or over time, but the result is the same; we become a person who can live with God and be like Him. In mosiah 27:25-29, in the book of mormon, you can read of Alma's experience with the love, mercy, forgiveness, and life-changing power of Jesus Christ. This power is offered to all who will come unto Christ, build their faith, repent, be baptized and recieve the Holy Ghost. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Read the book of mormon, and pray about it. it is true, this is the work of God. simply strip yourself of all pre-conceived notions, be sincere and have a desire to know the truth, if your willing to say "thy will not mine be done" than God will answer your prayers and show you that this is true. You'll be filled with His love, which, personally, i just feel an amazing sense of joy, like all is right with the world. He'll answer you in one way or another but He will answer. Just ask Him. as you read and study, you'll have your own personal experiences and you'll know for yourself that Mormonism is true. not because anybody told you or persuaded you. but because God as told you Himself.
