Hi I'm Morgan

I live in a home full of testosterone. I love being a mom. I am a homemaker. I love to run and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love that I grew up in Kansas City, KS...right smack in the middle of the United States! I was able to go and see many great things this country's history has left behind.  I am a mother to 3 beautiful boys. They keep me busy! When I am not occupied with those three rascels I love to spray paint furniture! I love thrift shopping and finding that great piece that needs a bit of a face lift. My favorite part of thrift shopping/spray painting furniture is seeing what the piece can become not what it looks like right now. I try to use that forward vision with those I come into contact with.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life. I have chosen to continue that memebership because it brings me so much peace and joy. I have rough times and trials just like everyone else. I feel that being a member of the church arms you with the neccisary tools to get through those trials and hardships a little easier knowing that you have a loving Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ to help you through those tough times. Even though I have been a member my whole life I had to find out for myself that the church was true. While I was growing up I relied on the testimony of my parents and eventually found myself needing that testimony for myself. I remember praying when I was a teenager to know if the church was true and if the Book of Mormon really was another testiment of Jesus Christ. While I was praying I recieved such a strong feeling of love and truth to my questions. I have never once waivered from that confirmation. I know with all that I am, that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others, being happy, honest and smiling. I feel that as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ I am an example of what the church is and what it stands for. I try to be observant in grocery stores or shopping malls for those that may need help holding a door, or returning a cart. I watch how I talk to others and even my children. Everyday I strive to be the happiest person I know that I am. I believe that happiness is contagious. I can only hope that the joy and happiness I feel can be passed by a smile or a simple act of kindness.
