Hi I'm Michael

I love to make people laugh, I'm a father, husband and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

So far I have a small family, that is growing. My wife and I have a six year old and a one year old who are just so wonderful. We love spending time together and watching them play and laugh. The gospel is so important in our lives, as we have built our lives around it. That is what makes our family work well, we have the same goal in mind, to return to live with our Heavenly Father. With that goal, together we help eachother get back up when one falls. The love we share knowing that we will be together forever is something that we find so special and so important.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had many experiences that helped me realize that my Father in Heaven loves me. As a teenager I was able to confirm my faith through prayer when I received an answer. I had gone far too long without actually praying intently with faith that I would receive an answer, until one of the leaders of our youth organization convinced me to go ahead and pray about it, and gave me some pointers about prayer. Tears filled my eyes as I received my answer. The greatest part is that my testimony isn't just based on a memory from when I was a teenager. I have had many experiences since then, and look to make sure that I have them often so that my personal testimony of the truthfulness of this gospel isn't based only on a memory that could fade away with time. I know that God doesn't just want us to have one memory for the rest of our lives from which we have a testimony. He allows us to have these experiences often because he loves us dearly.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what I can to help others get to know it a little more. A prophet in the Book of Mormon told us that if we have a desire to serve our God, we can do so by serving our fellow man, so that is what my wife and I do. We are very grateful for the blessings that we have, so we do what we can to serve as much as we can. One of the main things that I do right now is teach a class on Sundays to people who are either visiting or new to the church. I help make their experience here with us on Sundays a smooth and as spiritual as possible, while helping them feel like they have friends here.
