Hi I'm Kyle

Native of Arizona. Life long love of Service. Currently serving as a full time missionary in the Great Utah Ogden Mission!

About Me

Hi, I am Kyle! I am 19 years old and I am from beautiful Gilbert, Arizona. Born in near by Tempe, I am the second oldest of four children of My parents Michael and Diana Huffman. I love my Family so, so much and they bring me closer to our Savior Jesus Christ then anything else! I am a sports enthusiast, lover of my dog Bosco, and go getter. I grew up playing many sports including Baseball, Football, Golf, and Raquettball, and can often be found watching or playing them. If there is a big sports game on, you can find me with my family and friends watching it on TV. I am currently serving as a Missionary of the Church in the Utah Ogden Mission. I love my Mission so much! I love serving God and my brothers and sisters here in the Ogden Area. I have learned so much about our Savior and Brother Jesus Christ, and have developed a deep and abiding live for him. My love of service has always driven me to help others, and my dream is to one day serve people in the community through Law Enforcement.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in 1996 to an amazing family. My Mom was a convert at age 19 and my Father was still deciding if he should join he church. At the age of 8, I was wanting to be baptized and my Father had decided to take the Missionary discussions. Finally my Dad decided he was ready to join the church and In June of 2004, he was baptized. Following his baptism, he was confirmed and given the Priesthood in the meeting and then he turned around that same day and baptized me. It was such a great blessing in my life to have my Father baptize me. I remember that day as one of peace. My dad deciding to enter this gospel was a huge blessing for my family. Not too long after, both my parents began working nights on the weekend. This made it difficult for them to attend church. However, that did not keep me from going. I would wake up and take my little Sister and Brother to church with me. I loved church, I loved the feeling I got when I chose the right and partook of the sacrament. 3 years later in 2007, a great blessing came when my family entered the Mesa, Arizona Temple and was sealed for time and all eternity. Not too long after, my older brother decided that he did not want to belong to the church, and he did not want to serve a mission. So, He decided choose another path. It broke my families heart to see him wander from the path, but we continued to love and support him in hopes of him one day returning to the Gospel and we still do to this day. During this time I saw a change in him that I didn't want in my life so I decided to stay in the church and enjoy the blessings of this Gospel. I still have my struggles and trials, but it is so much easier having Gospel in my life. At the age of 18 I submitted my Mission papers and was called to be a full time servant of the Lord in the Ogden, Utah mission. I am still currently enlisted in this service and currently serve in South Clearfield. I love the charge I have been given to bring souls unto Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by always striving to be the perfect example and a follower of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that this is the true and only true church upon the face of this earth in which we have the power and authority of God. I show my faith by living in harmony of the churches teachings by the Prophets and apostles we sustain as prophets seers and revelator.
