Hi I'm pam

I'm a Mormon. I'm a mother of six children, grandmother of nine, married 41 years and have lived most of my life in Arizona.

About Me

I'm just your typical mom/gramma. I love spending time with my family - going to ballgames, school activities, playing in the backyard - just whatever is going on at the time! I love going to the temple, serving in church assignments, reading, collecting family history and keeping up with current events. I love to travel and have visited several countries and enjoyed their cultures, art, history and everything that makes them unique. I love animals, especially dogs and horses. And I love Arizona sunsets!

Why I am a Mormon

My family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the late 1800,s in England, Wales and Denmark and then came to America to join with other church members to help grow the church. So for me it was a gift from birth. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. It helps me understand that God is our Father in Heaven, that He loves all of His children and He has a perfect plan for us. The central part of that plan is His Son Jesus Christ, the Atonement, Resurrection and Second Coming. That knowledge gave me comfort and strength when we lost two of our children, when we've had worries about teenage and adult children, when we had financial disaster and during difficult interpersonal relationships. The eternal promises that are part of Heavenly Fathers plan, put a whole new perspective on life here and now.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the mormon faith isn't just a Sunday thing, it's a way of life. The gospel of Jesus Christ influences most, if not all the decisions/choices I make each day. When I mess up, it helps me want to do better. It takes commitment and a willingness to serve each other in many different ways but we have alot of fun and develop great friendships.
