Hi I'm Kitt

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Idaho. I loved growing up with my family and I enjoy my own family now.

About Me

One thing I enjoy more than anything else is being a Grandmother. I knew it would be wonderful and it is. Our time together is very precious to me as they dont live near. When I'm not with them I love to 4 wheel with my sweetheart high in the hills of Colorado. There's nothing like being 13000 ft. up looking at what God created for us. I've worked in a high school and loved the kids. I cut hair and really enjoy the people and creating new styles. I also love reading, movies and chocolate when ever possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family but that doesn't always mean you stay active. At some point in my life I had to really look at what I was being taught & decide if that is what I believed too. That opportunity came to me when I was about 17 or 18 years old. Through my own thoughts and prayers I determined I liked who I was and how the principles I had been living shaped me. I was always happier when I was following the gospel. I know, because like everyone else on earth, I have made a few mistakes here and there. It takes work to do those things that are right and "stay the course" as they say. There is so much around us to bring us down. But all through the scritures it tells us how we can be happy. For me, I am so much happier trying to follow the gospel plan. This church is about love, finding happiness and being a family forever. That means allot being a mother who lost a young son. I know I'll see him again and be together as a family. Life is hard enough without some good guidelines. I'm greatful for the church and all that is there to help me make good choices and be happy.

How I live my faith

I am an out going person, so I love going to church and being with my church family. We care for one another. Wherever you go in the world, if you meet up with another Mormon you istantly have a friend. I enjoy singing, so I'm able to join the choir for special holiday programs. I enjoy the times we ladies are able to spend together. Whether for a lesson on Sunday or some crafts during the week, it's always nice to have time with them. You always have opportunities to streach and grow as callings are given. I loved being over the music, teaching teens or 4 year olds. I've also planned parties, or taken a meal into a family with needs. As a church family, I never feel alone. And as in any family, there is work to do. I love working and serving others. It helps them and it helps me grow. That's how the Lord helps us. By using other people. I love it!
