Hi I'm Brooke

I'm a Mormon. I'm a mother of three. I grew up in Arizona.

About Me

I'm a mother to three kids ages 8, 5 and 2. I am fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom with a home-based business. I graduated from college with a Communications degree. I love to create beautiful things, decorate my home and make hair accessories for little girls! My husband and I have been married for 10 years.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents who were members of the church and was raised in an LDS household. As I grew older, even though I wasn't perfect, I knew the gospel and always had a testimony of its truthfulness. Knowing I could rely on my Heavenly Father for guidance helped me to make important decisions. The most important decision was marrying my husband in the temple. I stayed close to my Heavenly Father as a young adult so that when it came time for marriage I was worthy to enter the temple and was sealed to my husband for time and eternity. Being a Mormon means so much to me now because it has given me a higher purpose in motherhood. My children are sealed to me and my husband through sacred temple ordinances. They will be mine forever. The gospel is so important in raising children because they are reared knowing they have a Father in Heaven and Savior who loves them and knows them. They have an understanding that staying close to God will help them to always have happiness in this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday, in decisions big and small. I know that my Heavenly Father is aware of me and my family. He wants me to be a good mother and raise his spirit children in righteousness so I communicate daily with Him to help me as a mother. I serve as the Primary President in my ward which is an organization for the children ages 18 months to 11 years. We help provide them with experiences where they can feel the Spirit of God so that later in their lives when they need to make decisions they will know what that feels like and hopefully be able to make good decisions. We teach them about the love that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for each of them and that they are of great worth in the sight of God.
