Hi I'm Jake Bridge

I grew up in California, moved to Arizona & enjoy spending time with friends, my beautiful wife & three children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in San Jose California & moved to Arizona at age 16 with my parents and 6 siblings and started right into high school where I met my beautiful wife, after 2 years we graduated in 1997 and were married in 1998 on my 19th birthday. We have 3 awesome children, ages 4, 8 and 11 and am the happiest I have ever been. I own a graphic design & commercial print shop where I spend most of my waking hours and also a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Clothing line & MMA school, my wife and I usually end up on our date nights at MMA events sponsoring our fighters from our Training Center and vending our clothing. We take a family vacation every month or so to our house in Rocky Point Mexico where my in-laws built a beautiful home on the beach. With my wife's girl trips, my guy trips & family vacations with our kids we spend a couple weedends there per month. I enjoy riding off road quads & motorcycle road trips with my friends, wife & brothers, shooting guns with my friends & family in the desert or the range at least once a month. I also enjoy training for Search & Rescue and C.E.R.T with my brothers. I love to take my kids on as many adventures as possilbe, camping & shooting, riding quads or motorcycles, trips to the beach & sand dunes or the snow.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been going to the Mormon (LDS) Church my whole life and was sealed to my family as a toddler, my wife and I were married and sealed in the Temple is 1998 and last year I was happy to baptize my 8 year old son. I understand that people who are raised into a specific relegion may continue to attend that faith because of familiarity and comfort but I know that the church is true and am happy that I didn't have to find it like many people have to do because I don't know if I could have done it on my own. As a parent I would argue that this is the best thing that could ever happen to a family, not only the eternal family but even if I wasn't interested in the church at all I would still attend for the family values. This is the most family oriented atmosphere I've ever seen and it's the perfect place to teach children about morals, good judgement and to expose them to children & adults who share similar values and who can set good examples for eachother. It's a great build a basis that they might grow from as adults becasue the world is becoming harder to raise children every year.

How I live my faith

My wife and I team teach the 14 & 15 year old class in our ward and enjoy all of our students. Often learning more from them as well. We enjoy attending church as a family and our children love going to their classes and telling us what they learned and showing us what they made in class that week. I've been able to servre in the nursery, primary, the scouting program, Mesa temple worker, ward missionary and many others. Each calling in the church is an opporunity to learn and grow and it's nice to be able to serve. And I'm not a big fan of speaking in church so don't even think about it Bishop :)
