Hi I'm Eloisa

I'm the oldest of 7 girls, I love reading, Renaissance Festivals, Laughing, and Smiling... And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Eloisa Tenney. I was born and raised in the GREAT state of Texas!!! I am the oldest of seven girls. I love having a large family surround me. I'm a Renaissance going person. Going to these fairs I find that I can pretend to have lived in this time area if only for a day. I enjoy reading more than most things in life. The imagination is a wonderful thing. Books go so well with imagination. You create who someone looks like just by a description. I LOVE IT... Another thing I enjoy is to smile and laugh. You use more muscles to frown then you do to smile. Plus a person's face just lights up when there is a smile there. Laughing is so great for the soul. Making people laugh or being in a group of friends where we can all just laugh is pure joy to me. My family is my world. So many girls means so many personalities. We all have our own quirks, but we are all so close. I also love to cook. I can't tell you what I love to cook the most but when I cook I can relieve a lot of stress. :D I am currently serving a mission in Arizona. Severing the Lord has been such a wonderful Adventure.

Why I am a Mormon

Because I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I wouldn’t know who or where my life would be without this church. I am Mormon because it has molded me into the person I am, and the person I am to become. Yes there have been moments in my life where I felt alone and lost, but kneeling down in prayer has always diminished those feelings. I am Mormon because I have had my prayers answered; I have felt the spirit so strongly I can’t ignore it. I know this church is true. I know we have a living prophet today, and I know Joseph Smith truly saw God the Father and his Son Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because I know my family is an eternal family. Being a Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is who I am. Sharing my testimony is a challenge at times but a challenge I do willingly. I know this church is true. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and I will always stand as a witness for him. I know that I am a Daughter of God and we are all his Children and he loves us so very much. I know that God has a plan of each of us and I know that he wants nothing more than for us to be happy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by example. I read my scriptures, say my prayers, attend church weekly, and fulfill my church callings. One of those callings right now is serving a full time mission... It isn't easy being a missionary but all of it is so worth the blessings and seeing the changes in peoples lives.
