Hi I'm Jerry

I'm a grandfather, served America in the USMC, worked as a Doctor of Pharmacy and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I left home early in life with no purpose or direction. I graduated from High School and then served my country in the USMC. I have enjoyed being a cowboy, lumber jack, coal miner, truck driver and judo instructor. I love astronomy and the outdoors. My wife and I have been married 46 years and we have been blessed with 9 children and 39 grandchildren. My life's profession was being a Dr. of Pharmacy and I loved serving people in that manner. My wife and I have served missions in Mongolia and Adam-ondi-Ahman.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because it gave me purpose and direction in my life. I left home early in life with a previously sad home life. I graduated from high school in Wymoning not knowing one name nor having one friend in my entire senior class. When I was a lumber jack I met a Mormon family who took me in and taught me about what it means to be a Mormon. When I was up in the mountains I was cutting trees and a tree fell on me, so I had to go into town to get stitches for my injury. This is when Heavenly Father blessed me with a family that introduced me to the Mormon religion. That gave me purpose and direction. From that experience I went to college, made the dean's list and became a Dr. of Pharmacy. I am also an instructor in Clinical Pharmacology and train young people to become Pharmacy Technicians through preparing them for the national board examinations. Being a Mormon is a life style that will bless you in many ways with peace and comfort in dealing with life's problems.

How I live my faith

I was baptized the night before I started college. I graduated from the Institute of religion three times before I received my degree for Pharmacy. Then in law school I graduated two more times from the institute of religion half way through law school. I taught early morning seminary for several years and taught institute while attending law school. I have been a Bishop, a Bishop's counselor, a High Counilman. We were married in the Manti Temple.
