Hi I'm Jordan

I love music and being with my friends and family, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am in high school, I have ADHD, and it can be hard to work with that sometimes. But it gives me as many strengths as it does weaknesses. I love learning about what goes on in the world, love to talk about business strategies oddly enough, and I know the Lord has helped prepare me to something great! Whether it's big or small, I know that there is nothing I would rather do, than what the Lord wants me to do. I hope to do what the Lord wants me to do for the rest of my life, and I know he will lead me to do what he would want me to do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon and will continue to be Mormon because I have felt its truth testified to me in ways that I cannot properly describe. It is something that I can see how all of the pieces fit together, and its beautiful once you can see it all. I have experienced the power of eternal families for myself as well as the power of the Atonement to help me and those around me change for the better. I know that we have a prophet that leads and guides us through both good times and bad, and the comfort that has been given me has been priceless. I am grateful for the blessings I have been given, and the help that my family has given to me through some of my own personal trials. I know that even through hard times the lord is in charge, and that there is a purpose in all things. I know that he truly loves us, and even like unto a parent, when we ask for patience, he will give us chances to be patient, and when we ask for help to love those around us (and even ourselves) he more often than not does not give us that love, but gives us chances to love. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, everything about it, is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing everything I can to come to know my Heavenly Father, and to show others how much he loves them by serving them in any way that I can, even if it is only through a thank you or a smile.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

The young men are when they are 19-21 although some have extraneous circumstances such as health problems that make it difficult to be able to serve a mission at that time. Young women are advised to go if they choose to do so, and older couples are also advised to go on missions if they are able to. Show more Show less
