Hi I'm Melanie

I'm a wife to a wonderful husband of 8 years. I'm a mother to 4 beautiful children, and yes, I'm Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. I grew up playing any kind of athletics, and still have a love for playing volleyball, and basketball. I received an Associates Degree in Nursing and worked in an Operating Room. Which I absolutely loved! After my first child was a little over a year old, I decided to become a full-time mom. Now I am a mother to 4 wonderful, energetic children. I have a love for photography and hope in the near future to get a business up and running. My husband is in his second year for a Family Medicine Residency, so the time I get to have with my family, whether it be camping, going to the zoo, a park, or just a simple trip to the pet store, is precious family time for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I have never questioned my faith. I have a great love for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and I am grateful to him for the blessings that he blesses me with daily. For I know that nothing is possible without his help and hand in all things. I know that Joseph Smith was, and is, a true prophet of our Lord and was chosen to restore The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on the earth at this time. I know Heavenly Father hears and answers my prayers. I have had many experiences, even at a young age, where I know things happened because of my faith and belief in Jesus Christ. I can't imagine living my life any other way.

How I live my faith

I am not perfect. I strive to live my life though as Jesus would. I have had the opportunity to serve in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in many areas. I have had the opportunity to teach young children, youth and even the 'older' woman. My favorite though has been to be a coach to the Young Woman of our ward in basketball. To share with them the knowledge of basketball that I have and to see them grow and gain a better understanding of the game, and have fun while doing it, has brought great joy and happiness to me.
