Hi I'm Chantrie

I am a country girl from Idaho. I am a wife and mother full time and design flower gardens on the side. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised primarily in a small town in southeast Idaho. I spent most of my highschool and college years working for a small time rancher caring for his horses. I majored in horticulture. I love designing flower beds and flower arrangements. I am a wife and mother and enjoy my role as a homemaker, most of the time. My faith and my family is and always has been the most important part of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in an LDS family. I remember having family home evening and scripture study all through my early years. My family's love and support and more importantly their faith had a great influence on my mind. There was only a brief time when I wondered about the truthfulness of the gospel. I remember the feelings of doubt and confusion that were so overwhelming to me. I prayed and I studied to know the truth. I recieved a priesthood blessing during this time. As the patriarch placed his hands on my head and began to speak, I felt the greatest sensation of love and understanding flow into my heart. I knew that the gospel was true. I knew that my Heavenly Father was aware of me and my needs and loved me more than I could comprehend. All other aspects of the gospel fell into place and my testimony was resolved. I know the church is true and that it has a living prophet who speaks God's words. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Joseph Smith was God's instrument in restoring His church to the earth. I know that I have a Savior, Jesus Christ, who suffered for my sins that I might live again. I know.

How I live my faith

I work with children ages 12 and under in an organization called Primary. Each Sunday I get to watch and teach the gospel and see their faces as they begin to understand basic gospel principles. I love to be with them and learn from them. They teach us as much or more then we teach them. I get to feel the Spirit as it quietly touches our hearts as we sing about Christ and Heavenly Father. I love to be with them.
