Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

My husband and I have been married for 15 years. Together we have lived all over the United States and for a short time in Europe. We love road trips, concerts, good food and entertaining. We have three beautiful children who are truly our greatest blessing. After seven long years, four rounds of in vitro, and an intense year of trying to adopt, I found out I was pregnant with our first child. Nearly eight years to the day we were married, our sweet little boy arrived in our home. Ever since, I have been a busy mom to the most wonderful kids in the world! I love to play the piano, quilt, read, decorate and design my home and to entertain family and friends! I enjoy being involved in my children's activities. My son is in a cub scout den at school where I serve as the assistant den leader. On other nights, I am taxing him to baseball, soccer or swimming! My daughter is in kindergarten this year and I love being her room rep and hip hop enthusiast! My baby is two and happily discovering life. We have a mommy-and-me gym class once a week and I take turns teaching her preschool coop.

Why I am a Mormon

It gives me some direction in life, helps me to set goals - a happy family, personal study and progress - and to have an eternal perspective. I love my Heavenly Father and want to show my obedience to Him by living His commandments and serving others.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of the church my entire life and have had many opportunities to serve. Some of my favorite experiences have been with the youth. I loved teaching early morning seminary - a scripture study program for high school students - and teaching music to the younger children in our congregations. When we lived in Chicago, I developed a mentoring/tutoring program with the university students and inner-city youth living in our area. I love being a part of a church that cares so much about the success of its children. I am currently serving in the presidency of our women's organization and as the choir director for our congregation.
