Hi I'm Catherine

I come from eight generations of ancestors who left a history of their faith and their lives as Latter-day Saints. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love math and science. I earned a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (Physical Therapy). I love learning about nature and science. I enjoy running, bicycling, swimming, strength training, and dancing. I am enjoying learning to play the drums, guitar, violin, and flute, along with singing and playing the piano. I also love animals

Why I am a Mormon

The Plan of Happiness really does bring me happiness. The teachings of the Restored Gospel about eternal marriage have helped me very much and brought hope and peace into my life. I have enjoyed the revelations on resurrection and the Millennium. The Temple is a very peaceful and strengthening experience. I also benefited greatly from the Young Women program, with the life-changing goals that I set and accomplished. I have spent hundreds of hours gathering and sharing my family history. I have gotten to know many living relatives in this project, and have found many inspiring stories.

How I live my faith

I have been inspired as a result of prayer and scripture study many times. I love the hope and imagination the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings me. I enjoy sharing the Plan of Happiness with my neighbors. I also play the piano, organ, violin, guitar, flute, drums, and sing. I have been drawing and painting my hopes and dreams over the years. One of my projects was to visit over 50 handicapped or terminally ill people and offer the gospel to them. I have many friends from that experience. I have been working on my family history and Temple work - those are amazing people I look forward to meeting one day. I am grateful for eternal relationships. I like doing anything that brings the Spirit and friendships and real happiness. : )
