Hi I'm Jason

I'm happily married and am a proud father of 4 children. Family is my life! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to camp, fish and hunt. Athletics such as basketball, baseball and soccer have been a big part of my life. I enjoy juggling, singing and playing the drums. Ever since I've become a father, I've realized that is my most important calling in life! I love to help others. Perhaps, that is the reason I chose to enter the medical field. I've been an ICU nurse for a few years and am now studying to become a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ because it has brought peace, understanding, perspective and refuge to me and my family over the years. In a world of turmoil and evil, the Gospel has been our only constant. I believe God is a merciful Father, who loves all His children. God our Father has provided a way for each of us here on earth to return to live with him. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. As my family and I read the scriptures, go to church, serve others and pray each day, we are able to feel the spirit of the Lord fill our home and our lives. Feeling the spirit of the Lord reassures us that there is no need to fear the outside influences of satan. Rather, we feel a sense of security, peace, togetherness, happiness and completeness. I know I will be together forever with my wife and my children as we continue to follow the counsel God has given. There is no other feeling like what is found from living a Christ-centered life. I love being a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church every Sunday. In fact, going to church on Sunday's is always the highlight of my week. I look forward to being stregnthend and edified at church, which helps prepare me for the coming week. I live my faith by being a hometeacher. This means that within my Ward (congregation) family, I get to be a guardian with a companion (so to speak) to 2-3 families in the Ward. In turn, my family has hometeachers as well. I call upon my hometeachers if I or my family needs a blessing, help fixing something around the house, moving, etc. I live my faith by serving as our Ward's Employement Specialist. I research jobs and talk to others with the focus of helping anyone within our Ward boundaries (member or non-member) find employment. I network with other non-profit organizations to refer job seekers to free workshops on how to prepare professional resumes and prepare for job interviews. I live my faith not only on Sundays, but everyday. Being a Mormon is a lifestyle.
