Hi I'm Brad

I'm a husband, father, business owner and medical student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a busy, active and dedicated person with a myriad of hobbies and interests. The gospel of Jesus Christ keeps me grounded and centered on what's most important in my life. When I was 16 my father died of brain cancer. Things changed a lot after that and my faith in the Savior and His plan became one of my most important treasures. I have since married my best friend and together we have three children. I currently own a small business and recently started medical school. I look forward to many years of serving those around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I look out into the world and see a lot of confusion, worry and sadness. In contrast, my life is happy, exciting, joyous and centered on the Lord Jesus Christ. So much peace is found in the gospel. Of course there are many challenges in my life, just as there are in everyone else's, but I press forward and have great hope that things will be alright in the end. My Heavenly Father and my Savior are in control and that's all that matters. Heavenly Father has blessed me tremendously and I am grateful for the prophets that He has chosen today. I know that they are inspired and called by Him, even as in the days recorded in the Bible. The scriptures are a great source of peace and revelation, I am so thankful that the Lord has provided additional sacred writings in the Book of Mormon that help to solidify the principles taught in the Bible.

How I live my faith

I believe in participating actively in what I believe. Going to church every Sunday helps me to prepare for the upcoming week. I also benefit by receiving reminders of what is most important in my life. I currently help to teach the 7 and 8 year olds in Sunday School. It is amazing to watch the light in their eyes as they learn the simple truths of happiness and freedom that the Savior taught. Some of my favorite moments in the church have been to see the successes of the youth in scouting, school, work and service. The gospel teaches me that service and kindness is more important than money and praise. If I am living what I believe, I take the time to help others. I feel closer to my Savior at these times than during any other activity. I am constantly striving to be more like the Savior and live His commandments found in the scriptures.
