Hi I'm Elder Mullenbach

I enjoy making music, novels and stories, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm homeschooled, been homeschooled for most my education. I like to be with my friends and support them in whatever they go through. Being a supporter and a leader to the youth has no better feeling for me. I love seeing constant improvement, in them and myself, as we all work to one common goal. There was a time in my life where I had felt completely outcasted from society. I was completely inable to talk with people and get along with others, there was a point where anything anyone said got on my nerves and eventually it got to a place where I realized that there was a better way to live life. A way of happiness that I could walk. Counseling with my Heavenly Father through sincere prayer, hoping I could find a way to be happy. After studying the scriptures, I realized that I needed to be more kind and look in the good in life and serve others, and now, I'm the happiest I've ever been, and it's all thanks to God. I know that if I could be changed through the gospel and mercy of Heavenly Father, anyone can. He loves us all so much. Although I haven't had many problems that challenge both youth and adults today, I have friends that do. Seeing them in pain makes me feel bad, but I always try to help them and bring them up, because seeing people rise to the occasion from what seems to be the darker of times is really inspirational and motivational to me, themselves and other people. I appreciate all who go through hard trials and never lose light of what makes them happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but just because I was doesn't mean that that's the only reason why I'm Mormon. I'm Mormon because by small but sure signs, I have found my happiness within the church. The church has unified my family, which I have found is a great source of happiness. My friends are also in the church, and they know why it makes them happy. Having all of us youth in the church working for a greater goal is truly inspiring, and I have found has left me smiling when I think about them. The church has provided me a great deal of who I am. The Lord has greatly blessed me with many different perspectives, so whenever I have a hard time, I can meditate and when I read my Scriptures, I can close them with confidence, knowing that my trials shall pass if I shall have full confidence in my Heavenly Father. The church has done so much for me, provided me with friends, perspective, and a happier way to live life. It gives me something to believe in, something so true that you know with all your might that it could not be false. Believing in the Gospel of Jesus Christ is believing in something true, which gives life reason and beauty every step of the way. Although we still have tough times, we know it's for us to grow stronger, wiser, and for us to help ourselves and to grow. Not all trials are given from Heavenly Father, but it is He who shall deliver us from all of them. In the First book of Nephi, Nephi, who is a prophet of God, states that God will never give us anything we can't handle without His help. Knowing this will help our understanding as to why trials happen and why they are so hard.

How I live my faith

I live my faith of being a follower of Christ and a Son of God by the small things. Showing kindness to everyone, giving a smile, being true to my beliefs and not changing people from Sunday to Monday. I live my faith by helping people and help boosting morale. I live my faith the most by simply being obedient. It's not a big epiphany that just happens- it's just something you learn over time that keeping the commandments are a blessing. Rules are meant to be kept, and to keep us happy. By living the commandments, I can see blessings in my life by staying pure, staying healthy, and staying happy. Breaking commandments brings us sorrow, and lasting pain, but there is simply joy in keeping them every day. Faith is lived among us by simply staying true to the Gospel. Supporting our leaders and each other. Even though we may not know what's happening in anther's life (and we don't always seek to know), we always try to bring them up and help them. I feel personally that I live my faith by performing service to others, I used to complain about it, but I have reaped the benefits and blessings, and it always leaves me walking away with a smile. Whether it's helping someone move in, or simply asking someone to have a good day, it helps you to know that you made a positive influence in their lives.

What are Mormon church services like? Are visitors allowed at church meetings? Can I attend church?

Elder Mullenbach
Church services are very nice. The strength of service varies from ward to ward. Yes, you can attend church, and if you have questions, we encourage that you do! If you have a mormon friend, ask them to bring you so they can tell you and clarify how our church operates. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Elder Mullenbach
It's just like being yourself, but being more healthy, open, aware, alert, awake, and happy! Many think you need to change your personality to truly be a member of the church, but such are lies! We love all kinds of different people! Show more Show less
