Hi I'm Sandi

I am a pianist, an athlete, a wife and a Mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with a great family and support system. In high school I played sports year-round, and loved excelling at them. I started learning to play the piano from the time I was seven years old, and have never stopped learning it. I went off to college and studied Spanish Teaching, where I became immersed in the various cultures of Latin America and Spain. I learned to love those people and decided to go teach literacy skills in a rural part of Mexico when I was eighteen years old. Those were some of the best memories of my life. Since then I've married, had seven beautiful children and find joy in every day by loving each blessing for what they are.

Why I am a Mormon

I love truth, and it's all around us. It's in the beauty of the earth, it's in good literature, it's in science and in nature, and it's in the scriptures. I have felt the love of my Heavenly Father since I was a young child. He has never left me alone, and has blessed me considerably throughout my life. I am a Mormon because no matter how you look at it, truth will always stand firm and immoveable. When one seeks the truth they will feel it. When I read the scriptures, including the Book of Mormon, I have no doubt that it's true. When I listen to the prophet teach us, I can feel that what he says it important, and true. I studied the details of the story of Joseph Smith when I was a young teenager. I knew then that he was inspired of God. He restored the Gospel to the earth just as Jesus Christ had established so many years before, when he was on the earth.

How I live my faith

I make it a daily habit, it is a part of me.
