Hi I'm DeeDee

I grew up in a little town in Arizona. I love to sing and I have three beautiful girls who love to sing also. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Ever since I can remember I have loved music and performing. My brothers and I would sing together in duets and trios for funerals and weddings and we enjoyed every minute we had performing. Now that my brothers are grown and moved away and we all have families of our own, I sing with my daughters. They have beautiful voices and music is heard a large percentage of the time in our home. I grew up in a wonderful home with parents who taught me about love and generosity. I was also the youngest and the only girl. That means I had my share of spoiling. My brothers were my heroes and I am so grateful for the relationships I had with them then and now. I also love to dance but don't get much opportunity to do it because I live in a small town and I find myself quite busy with my three daughters including one four year old. I have my hands full with that little stinker but she is such a joy. Having three daughters, ages 14, 12 and 4 keeps me very busy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. The Gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope. The Savior has touched my life in so many ways. It gives me hope that I will one day return to my Heavenly Father and be reunited with my loved ones again. I have felt through the power of the Holy Ghost that the path that I have chosen here on this earth is a righteous one. I am so grateful for every blessing my Heavenly Father has given to me and I honor His name by living the principles of His Gospel.

How I live my faith

I have the opportunity to persue my music passion by directing the Choir. I also substitute in various classes where I am needed. I substitute teach the children and the youth ages 12 to 18. I love to work with the youth. I visit some of the women in our church on a monthly basis and maintain a wonderful friendship with them and their families.
