Hi I'm Cliff Jr.

I'm 57, a double amputee, a diabetic in renal failure, I'm also blind. I love God & Jesus. I'm a true blue Mormon and proud of it.

About Me

I am a 57 year old double amputee. I am diabetic and in renal failure. I'm also currently experiencing vision failure. Despite all of these hardship I still find the silver lining in life, and it keeps me smiling. I love to listen to the scriptures on tapes. I am the proud husband of 25 years and a father of a 30 year old son and a 23 year old daughter. I worked for a Navy shipyard before my medical retirement.

Why I am a Mormon

Being Mormon gives me joy every day by being " true blue" to the faith. Finding hope every day and giving charity where I can. knowing that I will someday be with family in heaven gives me the strength to face the challenges that I have. I find joy in studying the scriptures and learning the courage of the founders of our faith.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by listening to my scriptures and having them read to me because of my challenged vision. I look forward to going to sacrament on Sundays to recharge my batteries. Despite my challenges, I have been blessed with friends who have helped me be able to go to the temple. I find missionary work to be a gift that I was given and find it very easy to share the gospel. I live in a care home and love to share the gospel with the other people who live there. Every week I invite my neighbors to join me at sacrament service. I enjoy my home teachers and the missionaries who come and help me study the gospel.
