Hi I'm Caitlin

I am a wife, a mom, a nurse, a type-1 diabetic, organization freak and a photographer. And, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Chicago and in Utah. I am the oldest of 5 children. I am married to the most amazing person and he happens to be my best friend. I have the best job of being a mom to the most incredible little boys ever! They are crazy, fun, energetic, smart, and keep me on my toes. I take a lot of photos and almost all of them are of my son and family. I have a huge sweet tooth and can usually be seen eating ice cream, caramel apples, or candy treats. I have type 1 diabetes and use an Insulin Pump. I have been diabetic for 7 years. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Nursing. I spent 4 months living in Jerusalem and I can’t wait to go back. I love to travel and want to travel the whole world someday. I plan to serve a mission with my husband as soon as we can. My favorite songs are the songs my husband writes and sings. I like to organize things and don’t mind cleaning. I like to play tennis, read, go boating, go camping, and play soccer. I really don't like to cook that much, but I like to bake. I love my family more than anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but have been blessed to gain my own personal testimony as well. My testimony is everything to me. I can't pinpoint when it was exactly that I gained my testimony because I have been strengthening and adding to it since I was a child. I know the gospel is really true. I know it with all my heart. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world and the Redeemer. He loves me and I love him. Prayers are so powerful and He is always listening. I know that gospel has been restored and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I hold a special place in my heart for temples. I know families can be eternal and that promise brings me the most joy. I am a Mormon because I know, without a doubt, that these things are true.

How I live my faith

I am constantly trying to live my life loving others, serving others, and becoming a better person. I do my best to read the scriptures and pray daily. Living the gospel through my daily actions helps me feel closer to my Savior and brings my joy. I feel that being a mother and teaching my children is the most sacred and important thing I can do. I am lucky that I love being a mom more than anything. I also serve in my ward in various callings.
