Hi I'm Kacey

I love to be busy and explore the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm the oldest of 3 children. I graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked with children for many years. I have tutored, substitute taught in schools and currently teach Red Cross Babysitting classes to young teens. I am married and am lucky enough to be a stay at home mom to my three young children. I love exercising (especially running), traveling (I am always planning our next trip), cooking and baking, singing, and spending time with friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church and gained a testimony of my own in my early teens through prayer and scripture study. My testimony grew as I attended youth activities, early morning seminary (scripture study) and then BYU after graduation from high school. I love the teachings of the church, especially those of eternal families and life after death. The gospel brings much joy and happiness into my life. I know where I've been, where I am now, and where I am headed.

How I live my faith

I am the chorister in our ward primary, which is our organization for children 3-12. I teach the children songs that teach them of our beliefs and values. Each Sunday, we spend 20-30 minutes of our primary meeting singing songs. I love working with the children and watching them learn and grow through music. I also love teaching my children the gospel. We pray together as a family daily, read scriptures, sing church songs and serve others who are in need.
