Hi I'm Andrew

I like to make maps, play the drums, and ride my bike. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated from college in Geography and married a wonderful woman. Now I've moved far from home with her, and I'm working at a company where I get to do Geographic Information Systems, or GIS. I'm big on cartography and love making maps!

Why I am a Mormon

This Church is truly unique in an amazing way. Understanding what it's like to be a Mormon is like trying to describe salt to someone who has never tasted it before--it really has to be experienced to be understood completely. One unique aspect of the Church is the constant companionship of the Holy Spirit. That spirit has comforted me when I've been depressed and has led me to make choices that bring happiness to me and others. I have prayed to Heavenly Father and have asked if this church is true. Through the feelings of that Spirit he has answered me; the answer was, and still is, a resounding "Yes."

How I live my faith

I play an active role in my local ward. I help oversee a group of adult men, and together we discuss how we can draw closer to Christ, help others, and be better spiritual leaders in our families. I also help plan social activities that are a lot of fun! In my day-to-day life, I strive to be more like Jesus Christ. By following his example, I have come to see the beautiful results of living the way he would have me live.
