Hi I'm Bryan

I grew up in the Southern California area. I have been an Angels fan since the age of 6, thanks to my grandfather. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in an active home with my two brothers. My parents helped us to appreciate the enjoyment found outside of the house. My dad would take us fishing, hiking, camping, swimming, snorkeling and the list goes on. We also stayed busy playing sports like baseball and competitive swim. Now I am sharing that joy with my wife and two kids. We go fishing at the lake, swimming at the beach and play soccer. There is an even greater joy to share something you love with those you care about.

Why I am a Mormon

My mother found the church when I was a baby and my father joined the church a few years later. I grew up in the church and learned little by little the teachings found in the Bible and Book of Mormon. There weren't many Mormons in my elementary school so I stood out as the example. It was fun being a little different from the rest. The experience helped to better myself and always try to live my life to honor my Savior. Although I was just a child, I knew there was more to life than just school and playing. By the time I entered high school I knew what was expected of me and what kind of person I wanted to be. Now as a father and husband, I appreciate the guidance and blessings I recieve when I live by the teachings of the gospel. There are many distractions these days and having Christ in the center of everything helps to keep me balanced.

How I live my faith

Currently I have one of this best callings or assignments at church. I am a leader for the 18 months to 3 years old class. This class is called Nursery and it is during the Sunday school hours. My son is in the class and I love seeing him interact will the other kids. Anytime I put on a tie he gets excited because he thinks we're going to church. The little ones might not being learning much about the scriptures but my goal is to provide a fun positive environment so that they love going to church.
