Hi I'm Don Miloni

I am a dentist from Omaha, Nebraska. I live in Denver, Colorado. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm married with no children. We have four dogs. My wife and I enjoy all kinds of fishing; fresh water and salt water. We fly fish as well and spin and bait cast. I also bird hunt for ducks, geese and pheasants. I really enjoy reading especially the scriptures. My wife and I also attend plays and musicals.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Catholic and went to their school systems and received an excellent education; of which I am very grateful. As I studied the scriptures, I read Ephesians 2:19-20. "Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God, and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone." Neither the Catholic church nor the other Christian denominations could meet this requirement. I concluded that Christ's church was not on the earth. One day I read of Joseph Smith's claim of seeing God and investigated it. I have been a Mormon for the last 38 years because I know that Joseph Smith was visited by God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. Joseph was called to restore the Church of Jesus Christ back to the earth. The word restore means to bring back to its original condition. I know Joseph Smith was a man like Adam, Moses and Abraham and agreed to accept God's assignment. To restore the Church back on earth, it was necessary for Peter, James and John to transfer the authoirty Jesus gave them to Joseph Smith. They visited Joseph and laid their hands upon his head and the transfer was completed. I know this event also occurred. I learned that both events happened by praying to the Father in the name of Jesus and by the power of the Holy Spirit it was confirmed to me.

How I live my faith

By striving to: 1) Read my scriptures daily 2) live the commandments of God and 3) stay connected to the Holy Spirit.
