Hi I'm Adam

I belong to the Church of Jesus Christ (LDS). I'm a cub scout master, soccer coach, mountain biker, father, and busness manager.

About Me

I love being married and I love children. It is really a different world inside the walls of my home. My children are small but they (and my wife) are my best friends. We do everything together. The experience of a close family is unique to me. Walking into my home I feel loved. It makes me an optimist in every other walk of life:)

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to members of the LDS Church and was raised within the church. I have been greatly benefited by the teachings of Jesus Christ taught to me by my parents through the scriptures. Since I was a small child, I listened and applied these teachings into my life. Simply put, I have avoided much heart ache and gained much spiritual, mental, and economical security through these specific teachings. These lifelong learned truths guide every aspect of my life’s decisions. I believe in Jesus Christ because those beliefs elevate me. I read the Bible, Book of Mormon and other instruction given through God's prophets because it builds peace in my life and gives force to my intent to lift others. I simply like it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my view of this world. This world is hard. Many unpredictable and scary things happen to most people: To some its things bad people do; to others its things that just happen when no one causes them; and to others its accidents and just unfortunate events. This scares me at times but my faith covers my fear with the power to act. My faith demands of me personally that I choose to be a force for good in the world. I ponder and plan how to lift those around me both spiritually and economically. This is not something I do for the praise of others. My motivation is in the feeling of peace which I experience when I am part of an event which lifts another human. My faith is a practical one. My faith in Christ gives me knowledge and power on how to be a "light" in a dark world. The very process of being a "light" is simply the best experience I have ever found.
