Hi I'm Gloria

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of five children, two girls and three boys, all of whom are grown. I have thirteen grand children, 23 great grand children and 2 great great grand children. I have always loved to cook. I worked for a Jr High School as the Manager of the Cafeteria. I later became the Manager of a large Senior Citizen Complex as a Nutritionist. My husband and I taught our children the value of the Gospel, honesty and hard work. I am a former Temple worker,I would love to work there again if my health would allow me to do so. I love my Heavenly Father and I love being in his presence at the Temple. My husband is in Heaven waiting for me. I am working on getting there myself, but I'm not in any rush.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe in everything The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints teaches. I try to do my best to follow the commandments. I believe in prayer and the atonement and the Holy Ghost. I was born into the Church and believe that families can be sealed together forever.

How I live my faith

I minister to other women by making at least monthly visits with them. I really enjoy making these visits. I am strengthened as I do this and hope the other women I visit are strengthened too. I offer my talents that I have developed in my career as a nutritionist. I enjoy helping to prepare meals and other tasty treats for activities. I also share these goodies with others. I like taking meals into people who are not feeling well or are in need. I try to treat them as the Savior would treat them. I am part of a committee that plans and carries out activities for the women of the Church. I enjoy my association with others.
