Hi I'm Stephen Bigelow

I grew up in Olympia, WA. I have a beautiful wife and 4 loud, happy children. I love my family! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi. I love sports! My dad always said, "there is nothing more spiritual then a good basketball game." :) My dream has always been to be self employed. Two years ago that dream came true when I was laid off from my job and was forced to start a property tax advising company. Still working at it and love the challenge of starting a company from the ground up. I am a father of 4 children. Two boys and two girls. I enjoy coaching my children's sports teams. One of my favorite thing to do is to give kisses to my 5 month old baby girl. I love all water sports. Water skiing, wake boarding, swimming etc...

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ and that our Heavenly Father has a plan for our hapiness. I was born into a mormon family and grew up going to church. It was not until I left home for college that I began to really learn about what it meant to be a mormon. My belief in Jesus Christ and his atonement began to grow and develop. I began to understand and believe that we are all children of our Heavenly father and that our Heavenly father knows each of us and loves us. Also, that our Heavenly Father sent his son Jesus to help us. Knowing this encouraged me to learn more and make an effort to serve others. I have a long ways to go. I am grateful for my savior Jesus Christ and his life which affords me the opportunity to correct my mistakes and improve with the hope of returning to our loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have the responsibility of helping young men in my church in scouting. We participate in many good activities that help the boys develop life skills that will help them someday be leaders in the community and good husbands and fathers. It is a lot of fun to work with these great boys. I think I may have more fun in my service then they do. I also am a home teacher. That means that I have 4 families from my church that I am responsible for. I visit them once a month to make sure their physical and spiritual needs are being met. I share a lesson that is prepared by our prophet with them. It is a blessing to get to know these families and learn from them.
