Hi I'm Lauren

I'm an adventurer, a photographer, an artist, a dreamer, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the great Northwest, so as such I love the outdoors. Hiking, camping, bridge jumping, and anything that makes an adventure. I love to read, especially classics from authors such as Conan Doyle, Oscar Wilde, Emerson and Twaine. I am also an artist and a photographer. I take photographs of everything from nature to weddings. Currently I am studying as an Art Major, hoping to graduate with a bachelors in Photography. Though I am not much of an painter, I do love to draw and create. I also love to write. Being a dreamer means a great imagination, which I put to good use in writing. At this time I am attending to school not only for an Art Major but a Minor in English. I have a flare for vintage and antiques, and I create my own style.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to follow my Savior, Jesus Christ. All the happiness I have experienced in my life has come from the knowledge that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live, and that I am never alone in this life. There have been so many times in my life where I have prayed for strength in the darkest of times, and received the help that was needed. There also have been other times when I just needed comfort when everything seemed to be caving in; I felt his arms around me many a lonely times. The Lord lives and I have personally felt his love for me and those around me. I have seen His power create miracles that saved lives and hearts. I love Him with all my heart and soul, and I am indebted to him.

How I live my faith

Living my faith doesn't mean that I have to make some incredible miracles happen. It means living as the Savior did. Simply. I am a people person, I love serving others in small ways that are unnoticeable at first. I love discussing my faith to others when asked, and seeing the Spirit work wonders in their lives.
