Hi I'm Mark

I'm a Dad. I'm a husband. I'm a physical therapist. I'm a sci-fi fan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in California And Arizona. I have a beautiful wife and four wonderful children. My wife and I run our physical therapy practice together. I have a master's in physical therapy. I love sports but can't play any more because of an old football injury. We love to hike, read books, and (to my wife's dismay) I love science fiction.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised Catholic and went to private Catholic grade schools and high school. But during high school I felt that something was missing. I believed in Jesus Christ, but felt that something was missing. In college I explored other faiths and organizations. But when some teammates on the football team invited me to listen to the missionaries, that's when I found what I was missing. There are many wonderful and faithful people in the Catholic church, my parents and relatives being some of those people. But for me it was like a glass being half full. What I learned from the missionaries made the glass full. I prayed and asked God, Heavenly Father, if the Book of Mormon was true. If His church was restored on the earth today. He answered my prayers.

How I live my faith

My wife and I try to live our faith by leading our children. Hopefully by our good examples, but we are not perfect. We really try to pray and read scriptures together as a family. Help each other out as best we can. And then help our neighbors and church members. I am a leader in our men's organization. We strive to help and support all of our members, and especially look out for any service or projects we can do for all our neighbors. This church helps us all to live life better.
