Hi I'm Tony

I'm a skier. I'm a real estate banker. I'm a Son, Brother, and an Uncle. I enjoy music, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

In the past four years I lived in four different states, but I was raised near the mountains and for that reason I enjoy hiking, biking, and skiing. But in reality, I just enjoy being outside even if it's just for a barbecue or a quick game of flag football with friends or family. Speaking of family, I'm the youngest of two children and was raised by two wonderful, loving parents. While I don't live near home currently, I always look forward to going home for the 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas holidays. Professionally, I'm employed as a commercial real estate banker, which allows me to be involved in two industries that I love; namely, finance and real estate. Outside of work I enjoy cooking new recipes, trying new restaurants, reading magazines and books, researching new ski equipment, studying architecture and design, learning about photography, as well as watching ESPN, The Food Network, and The Discovery Channel!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints; as such, I've been an active member (or Mormon) my entire life. Truth be told, I really enjoy being a Mormon. I enjoy attending Sunday meetings and learning more about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I enjoy serving in the Church and interacting with its members. But above all, I enjoy how living the gospel makes me feel. I enjoy the happiness that comes from trying to be a better Christian. Do I live perfectly? No, but I strive to be better each day and appreciate the peace that comes from knowing that if I fall short at any particular moment that I can change through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Does being a Mormon present challenges? Absolutely. Does being a Mormon enhance my life? Absolutely. I've found that as I've made an honest effort to live the precepts of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my life has been blessed in many tangible and intangible ways.

How I live my faith

While the name "Mormon" is most commonly used as a noun to refer to members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, being a "Mormon" is personified through verbs such as teaching, learning, serving, giving, and loving. On a day-to-day basis I try to live the gospel of Jesus Christ privately through personal prayer and scripture study, as well as publicly by living the standards of the Church, attending my Sunday church service, and throughout the week by helping to organize church related events / activities and giving service to others. While living the gospel of Jesus Christ is a life-long pursuit, each day presents an opportunity to take another step forward along that path.
