Hi I'm Sunny

I am a nursing student. I play soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a nursing student who also works as a respite and habilitation provider. I love to play sports, especially soccer. I play on adult co-ed recreational leagues. I grew up in the country but live in the city, still trying to get use to it though it has been 7 years. One of my new found interests/hobbies is having dinner parties at my house. When not learning about nursing, I love furthering my education in other areas, like history.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know I have a father in heaven who knows me and loves me. He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to suffer, bleed, and die, that we might all be saved. Jesus' mission allows me to be forgiven of my sins, as well as be healed of all worries and pain, physical, emotional, or spiritual. Though He died, He has also risen. He lives, and this enables us all to live again in the life to come. As we give all our sins, worries, doubt, fear, and pain to him, we can become like him and receive eternal life. It is through the Holy Priesthood that families can be together forever. These things I know to be true because I have prayed about them and received an answer through the Holy Ghost. I testify in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I serve in the ward by visiting women in the congregation, that have been assigned to me, monthly to see how they are doing and teach them a message out of the church magazine. I also see if there is anything that I can do to help them out. Through this means of service, great friendships are made and cultivated. I also teach a Sunday School class, when asked. Right now we are learning the basic principles in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, such as faith, repentance, baptism, and receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost.
