Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a husband and father, a sports enthusiast, a Chicago boy at heart who now loves living in Colorado, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful lady and we are the proud parents of three wonderful kids (1 boy and 2 girls), and they definitely keep us on our toes! I work for an insurance company as an auditor and my job takes me all over the beautiful state of Colorado. I am a big sports fan and I enjoy participating in sports, attending sporting events, and even watching sports on TV. I really love spending time with my family, whether it's going somewhere together or just hanging out at home. I think my family is really what makes everything worth while and I don't know what I would do or be without them!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon for many reasons, but they all have to do with "family", both here on earth and in heaven. I believe that we are all children of a loving Heavenly Father who wants the very best for all of His children. As part of God's family, He wants each of us to return home to live with Him again. In order to make this possible, He sent His son, Jesus Christ here to earth to be our Savior and Redeemer. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer and if I follow His example and do the things that He has taught, I know that I can return home to be with my Heavenly Father again some day. I also know that Heavenly Father wants me to be with my own family forever. He has given us the ability to be together forever as families, and that is what I want more than anything in the world! That is the real reason why I'm a Mormon because I believe that it is where I need to be to help me and my family get back to heaven where we want to be.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church! One of my favorite things about being a Mormon is that every single person is involved in serving each other. I have had the opportunity to serve in many different ways in the church. Some of these have been teaching a Sunday school class, working with the youth, working with the young children, and many other positions. I also was able to serve as a full-time missionary in Santiago, Chile for two years and that was a wonderful opportunity! Currently I am serving as a counselor or assistant to our Bishop, who is like the Pastor of our congregation. This is a wonderful chance for me to get to serve each and every member of our congregation or ward. I love service! Whether it is to my own family members, to the church members I associate with, to my neighbors, or to my community it doesn't really matter because I feel that service brings love. As we serve others we truly grow to love them! I love being a Mormon because it provides me with many opportunities to serve others!
