Hi I'm Jared

I'm married with four children. I speak Japanese, develop videogames, coach soccer and play the drums. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well I'm a Canadian living in the United States where I've lived with my wife and children since 2004. I co-own and operate a videogame development company where we employ about 60 people and make games for the PlayStation3, Xbox360 and PC. I lived for a couple of years in Japan where I learned to speak Japanese pretty well. I enjoy sports especially hockey and soccer, and I play the drums.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because of my personal knowledge that Jesus Christ is my Savior. My parents taught me to believe in Jesus Christ from a young age. That belief over time grew into a deep knowledge that Jesus is the Savior of the world and that He and our Heavenly Father have a plan of happiness for us. That plan is taught to us through prophets, both ancient and modern day.

How I live my faith

I am a lay ecclesiastical leader helping to watch over my local congregation. I serve in the community on a regular basis as a soccer coach. I love helping to serve those in need, in any way that I can.
