Hi I'm Maren

BYU student, daughter, sister, best friend, but currently an LDS sister missionary called to serve in the Recife, Brazil mission.

About Me

I'm a small town, Mormon girl, BYU student, 19 years old and I couldn't be any happier in this crazy world. I wouldn't want to be anyone else. I'm serving a mission to Brazil, end of July 2013. I can't wait to share with people the truth, the light and my knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

Some would argue and say I'm just a Mormon because I've been born into it and have grown up in the church my whole life--I don't know any different, right? Yes, I've been raised in this church and I couldn't have asked for a greater blessing. But I have pleaded and prayed to know if these things are true and I have built my own strong testimony and have found for myself the truthfulness of this Gospel. And that is why at 19 years old, I have no greater desire than to serve the Lord by serving a mission and bring this knowledge and happiness that I have to others who so desperately need it.

How I live my faith

I couldn't imagine living any other way. I've heard people say it's "hard to live the Gospel sometimes" but I looking at the world we live in today, I think it would be even harder to live without. My faith is my backbone. It is the one thing in this life that will never waver, never change and will last for all eternity.
